Ancient Cultures Of Easter Island (3 hours)

Our excursion begins with a visit to the ceremonial site of Tahai, located on the west coast of the island, with altars and monolithic statues, the architectural symbol of Rapa Nui culture. Then we will head towards Rano Kau, volcano closest to the village of Hanga Roa and head to the "Mirador", to have a view of a crater with a lake which has a microclimate inside that allows the growth of dense, varied, and exotic vegetation. After a short drive you will be able to appreciate one of the most outstanding and enigmatic places of this island, the ceremonial village of Orongo. This was a small village of 52 houses built with flagstone, where the celebration of the birdman (Tangata Manu) and the competition related to it used to take place.
